Think Rocco knew Blackmon is a 13-14 year veteran whos career batting avg against Lefty pitching is 300 ? So lets bring in Caleb, when ur starter DESERVED and should of been left in,  Fuc- 3rd time thru the order Rockhead   Thanx for totally turning the game into ****

Thielbar was warming up in the 5th. Even before the Margot error. He was coming out even if he had a no-no going. As @USAFChief said. It was predetermined.  I totally disagree with the move. But Rocco will do the same thing if it happens again

I thought it was questionable that Thielbar is the highest paid member of the bullpen…

I don’t understand how it’s an ego thing.    I don’t buy that it’s solely a Rocco thing, the front office clearly wants him to continue to script out games like this or this would have changed by now. It’s a collaborative decision premade alongside other cooks in the kitchen. Don’t get me wrong, I’m for Rocco getting sacked, but only alongside Falvine going too - they’ll just hire another guy who will execute their plan and the same criticism will mar the new manager as well.

I don't buy that.

Clearly there is pregame input. But he's the manager. In game decisions belong to the manager. If he chooses to let someone else .make them, he's even weaker than I think.

Agreed. The FO is likely dictating many of the "in game" moves to Rocco ahead of time,

It's a collaborative effort for sure but Rocco is the guy who gets to see a plate if bloody frickin chicken and still decides to serve it to the customers.

I’m as big an AK guy as there is here, but his days on the roster are numbered. It’s just not happening.

The Twins don't have a middle of the order. No big studs, who play every day and put up  .900+ OPS every year. Without those types, it's really hard to build an offense that consistently creates scoring opportunities.

Maybe Lewis will be one someday.

Other than maybe that, they aren't going to have one for a while either.

Couldn’t agree more. I chuckle when I read articles claiming we’re one or two upgrades away at 1B/DH and LF from being a WS contender. If those upgrades are in their prime Albert Pujols and peak Manny Ramirez, sure we are WS contenders.

Kirilloff and Thielbar went to have a beer in St Paul.

There is no punch line.

Inshallah.  And Margot can join them.
