I'd think any competent MLB first baseman makes the play. He was playing in, a big hop that took him toward the line. The runner from third initially held, broke for home when Santana went to tag the runner. Tag the runner, spin, make easy 70 foot throw.

Vazaquez nearly F'd it up by being a little too far in front of the plate.

As a fan I find it really frustrating that the same team that put together that 12 game streak follows it up but looking mostly disinterested and possibly unprepared for these “statement “ series against playoff caliber teams.
