This whole platoon crap is really annoying. A player can't get better at oppo pitchers if they don't get at bats, and to play rentals with no future instead of the guys that are the future, and watch them fail over and over, relying on past reputation, is not working. Especially Kepler and Larnach right now. They are scorching hot. It just might carry over to all at bats, if you give it a try.

exactly.  If you're a decent hitter than you hit against both right and left handers.  Anyone remember Killebrew not batting against right handers or Oliva or Carew taking the bench when a lefthander was bought in?
