Ryan was solid. He got bit by the long ball again though. Still he kept them in the game. Now the bats need to wake up.

You mean last year when the bats woke up AFTER the all-star break. And they had much better starting pitchers.

Everyone keeps saying this. The twins were 17-12 at the end of April last season, 2 above at the end of May. Treaded water for 3 months, but never fell far behind. Can’t assume a similar strong second half, especially with a seemingly stronger division, weaker rotation and less power hitters than ‘23

I can't remember seeing a line up that swings at pitches outside the strike zone and lets pitches in the strike zone go by, unchallenged.  We need a batting coach who simply teaches these guys the strike zone, and when to swing.

I guess Kiriloff's ground ball triple was hit fairly sharply, but outside that I don't recall a single ball even hit hard by the Twins.
