When has their contact play worked

Don’t see the upside in running a contact play with Buxton at the plate. He hits the ball too damned hard.

The contact play has to be my absolute least favorite base running decision, if you don't have Buxton speed no MLB infielder is going to struggle to throw the ball 100 feet to home

The contact play usually is an all or nothing play.  Out or safe by a mile, but usually closer when safe.
