That young lefty for KC has some nasty stuff. He could be a thorn in our side for years. It was very nice to see the lineup take down a tough lefty. Last year's first half lineup was tough to watch, thankfully this one looks much different.

Finally finished a great opening game! Pablo is the man. Correa is a new man. Julien, who by the way is special, will now get more playing time. Edouard Julien plays within himself and will be available. We will be better for it.

Eddie didn't look too bad in the field did he, eh?

Not a big fan due to inability to stay on the field, but watching Buxton in the Box with healthy legs & in CF sliding around under everything hit his way was fun to see as well!

Didn't Kepler also tweak something which led to his replacement?

Kepler fouled a ball off his right leg. Finished the AB after a lengthy time out, then didn't take the field the bottom half of that inning.

This. Provus is pretty good.

I am sure of that.  But it is like getting a new chair.  Of course it is better than your old, favorite, comfortable chair, but you still long for that old chair.  Dick was that for me, as was Herb.  Cory will do fine; I just miss Dick.

I think he nailed himself twice, in fact. the second one was the worse one, going right off the knee. The change seemed more precautionary than anything, but it looked painful going right off the knee like that.

Real shame about Lewis. To hit a HR on an 0-2 pitch with your first AB of the season is ridiculous. It was a mistake from Ragans but even so, what a swing. I just hope he's not out for long.

Correa was locked in at the plate. Shame his best AB of the game got Lewis injured! But Correa showed his quality in that AB. Loved his hustle in the 9th beating out that infield single as well!

Lopez doing Lopez things. Didn't let the lead off HR get to him at all. Poor pitch, but he forgot about it and pitched a gem. Proper ace.

And Morneau keeps prattling on..................,...

yep. Justin seems like a really good dude and knows a lot about the game but he just can’t get to the point. Make your point and let the broadcast breathe.

Personally, I think management sucks if Eddie Rosario is your opening day CFer

Chief you'll dig this then. Eddie is starting at 3B tonite (Fri) for the Nats. I think they're drinkin' some weird koolade over there.
