Sutter50 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Hey Tie game It's Kepler's fault
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I wish they could teach Kepler to hit the other way! :)
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 C4 with another crappy AB.
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 That’s the 2023 Twins in a nutshell. HR followed by 3 straight K’s. What happened to the patient approach?

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Complete futility after the first pitch. C'mon guys, it's Jordan Lyles. Don't get yourself out.
Eephus Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Maybe isn't going to be one of those patient approach nights. Too much sitting around during the delay.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I believe Twins games have featured the most strikeouts of any team in MLB.

Smalley (to me) has an annoying voice, but his knowledgeof baseball easily surpasses any of the other commentators. From the pitcher's side I favor Glen Perkins, but he actually has a decent voice. I have a terrible midwestern monotone and would be lampooned horribly by listeners. Anyone else remember Smalleys 87 bar-rest 1st year of target field ? I had season tix for twins games and bought 20+ gift certificates , from Roys 87 it was across the street , , Bar went belly up and i confronted Roy in a pregame at the field, still had over 100+ in gift cards for Roys , he said his name was all he had to do with it, Maybe so ? i thought it was classless , yes i hate his voice !!!

CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Great swing on that pitch.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Miranda's bat is looking better
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Let's get a crooked number here and put the Royals away
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Not often you see a MLB player that far off on a pop up. He settled under it, then literally ran 50 or 60 ft and still didn't get to it.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Bases loaded not good for Twins
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 How can mlb seriously talk about expansion when there are teams like the royals in the league? Right now, the A’s are on pace for the third worst winning percentage EVER. The royals are 5th and the white Sox are 14th. Going all the way back to the 1800’s
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Pretty awful AB there from Vasquez. Way out in front and bailing on a breaking ball that everyone should have anticipated.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 How the hell does Taylor swing at that 3-1 pitch? Edit: he gets another chance and lays off ball 4.
