Tuned in just in time to see a four-pitch walk in the first inning.  And then the run-scoring double.   Cueing up the Abe Simpson revolving door GIF just in case...

Doh, i never did find out how you got them to offset?

Click on one, hit escape from that, click on the other, hit escape again, and if your browser is like mine then they'll alternate.

I bet that'd be really funny if I was smart enough to know what the (((( you're talking about

I am aware that it violates all the rules, but Ober could easily throw 100-120 pitches against a team like Washington. I don't expect it, just an observation. Then again, perhaps management believed that Ober had lost all effectiveness in the sixth inning.

It was curious to watch Woods Rchardson throw 97 yesterday with many pitches coming with runners on base, and then watch Ober cruise today but get lifted with 89 pitches. Good outing for Ober.

Woods RIchardson's pitches didn't matter to the outcome.

Ober's still did.

Jax?

why not Lopez and then Duran? Baldelli………

It is baffling to me as well. The only thing I can think of is that he's saving either Lopez or Duran to possibly close out tomorrow vs Yankees

I of those 2 things is true.

It's true, he passed away when I was a kid.  What were your impressions of him turning the double play?

It's funny even if you're not.  :)

As I said, I think he was a pretty good 2nd baseman.

Part of the reason I think why it always seems like the Twins are in an uphill battle coming into today our lead off batters are 17 for 85  (.200 avg) with 4 BB and 23 Ks. Kepler has led off 6 times, Buxton 5, Solano and Julien 3 and Larnach 1. Will be interesting to see if this team develops a “real” lead off hitter or if Rocco keeps ignoring it.

Rocco is ignoring it.  There's a reason ignore is from the root word, ignorance.

Not a lot of good options for lead off.  Maybe try Polanco.
