Good Evening, aTwinsFanInMaryland here again and happy to bring you tonight’s game thread. Your (15-10) Minnesota Twins take on the (9-16) Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park @ Camden Yards in the finale of a 4 game series. Last night was rough so let’s hope tonight is more fun! The Twins have a chance to win the four game series. They will have to do it without manager Rocco Baldelli and players Luis Arraez (not in the original lineup) and Dylan Bundy (pitched last night)

Roster Moves: As previously mentioned Luis Arraez & Dylan Bundy placed on the COVID-19 protocol list. No immediate roster moves willed by made to replace them due to the time crunch. Expect moves prior to the start of the Oakland series tomorrow.

The Pitchers: RHP #17 Chris Archer (0-0, 2.93 ERA, 14K’s) vs RHP #80 Spencer Watkins (0-0, 2.55 ERA, 8K’s)

*quick note: Archer has a career mark of 6-10 against the Orioles with an ERA of 5.05 in 21 games. Spenser Watkins has never faced Minnesota.

The Lineup:

Twins:

1. Byron Buxton CF

2. Carlos Correa SS

3. Jorge Polanco 2B

4. Max Kepler RF

5. Gio Urshela 3B

6. Gary Sánchez DH

7. Trevor Larnach LF

8. Jose Miranda 1B

9. Ryan Jeffers C

Orioles:

1. Cedric Mullins CF

2. Trey Mancini DH

3. Anthony Santander RF

4. Austin Hayes LF

5. Ryan Mountcastle 1B

6. Rougned Odor 2B

7. Ramon Urías 3B

8. Robinson Chirinos C

9. Jorge Mateo SS

quick note: Carlos Correa has been heating up at the plate recently as he in now on a 7 game hitting streak after his 2 run homer in last nights game. He will look to extend that streak tonight.

Draft Kings Odds: Twins (-150) Orioles (+130) o/u 8.5

I kinda like this lineup.

Better than last night's anyway.

Any lineup with Buxton in it is better than one without him.

Buxton and 8 Drew Buteras in the same lineup might not agree! :)

Short bench. Unsure who. Is playing for Arraez, probably Miranda, perhaps Sánchez.

Good question.  I didn't catch who the corresponding moves were either.

Sounds like there wasn’t time to get anyone to Baltimore. They will make the moves tomorrow for the next series.

Hopefully Archer settles in and gets through 5 tonight.

If we're allowed to have 8 Drew Buteras... Can we just have 9 Buxtons?

No, that's just plain lunacy!

What happens when they all get hurt?

Ugh. Orioles getting lots of soft hits and bloopers this series and our hard hit balls are all finding gloves.

.960 xBA! Unbelievable.

I'm glad Morneau is being openly critical of the changed baseballs. It's such a shame to think of all of the hard-hit balls that have gone to waste this year. And it seems like the Twins have been more affected by this than most teams! ?

The probability of that happening is less the more you have, i think.

I'm no math expert, but that makes sense to me!

How about 8 Buxtons and one Drew.
