I was hoping we'd see Correa in the lineup today ... guess it's a bit too soon.

I understand looking forward to seeing C-4 play in a Twins uniform. I feel the same way. But I am looking forward to watching Royce Lewis play SS today. I know what to expect at SS  from C-4, but I'm not sure how well Lewis does at SS.

Agreed.  I'm pretty comfortable with what we're going to get with Correa.  We'll get plenty of time to see him.  Lewis is the one I'm most intrigued by.

It's too bad that spring training is so short.  It would be fun to see Martin, Lewis, Buxton and Correa in the same lineup.  Not sure how they'd all fit, but it would be fun nonetheless.

Jucy Lucy hangover, no doubt.

I'm much too hungry for this sort of comment!

That was truly one of the most surprising comments ... not that juicy lucy's aren't awesome, but that he knew of them

Well, if @chpettit19 would have his way, we'd see Martin and Lewis in the outfield with Buxton, then Correa as SS ... that's how they'd all fit in the same lineup :)

Ooou ... a Jucy Lucy accompanied by a great scotch ...

It's that kind of hunger that drives great game thread posters. :)

So, does that mean that I should aspire to have more or fewer Jucy Lucy's?

And where does Scotch work into this equation?

Rocco crushing my dreams with continuing to play them both at SS. My hope is now 2023 opens with a Martin-Buxton-Lewis OF and Bogaerts at SS. But I continue to hold out hope that we at least see 1 of Martin or Lewis in LF with Buxton and Kepler at some point this year. I'll keep speaking it into existence!

lol ... not Correa?

We can't have continuity at SS.  It's like baseball law or something!

Correa is going to get paid and leave. I may be mostly a Twins optimist, but I'm not crazy. Although, Bogaerts is going to get paid too so maybe I am crazy...

Well, if the Twins have the money for one, they have the money for the other ... and I'd rather have Correa than Bogaerts, but that's me

Who's in the booth with Bremer today? Is it Morneau?

Yes.

That really is the correct answer.

So ... those of you watching online ... do you know the aria used in that Velveeta commercial?

Oh I'd much rather have Correa, but they're not giving him a 6-10 year deal at 30-35 a year. Bogaerts is older so I'll hold out 1% hope that he only gets a 5 year deal and the Twins may be in on that. Or maybe Lindor has another bad year, Cohen agrees to eat half his money and trade him to MN for you and me and then he gets back to being classic Lindor? Lots of ways my imagination can go at this point.

Having Lewis at the bottom with his speed, and Buxton leading off with his speed could be quite entertaining.

Even moreso if the game was being played in 1985 when SB were a thing.

Lol ... there was a time I wanted us to get Lindor ... sigh ... just like I wanted Donaldson when the A's traded him to the Blue Jays ... we don't get in on this talent when it counts the most ... but ... Lindor ... not sure

Especially if Buxton gets the bunt down ...
