Twins still haven't released their lineup. I'm curious to see if we're going to see a getaway day lineup or just 1-2 guys sitting for the day.

At the very least, I'd expect to see Carroll start... But do you replace Florimon or Dozier?

Take a drink every time Bert says "Peltrey"

I expect to hear a lot of confusion from Bert as he spends 5+ innings trying to figure out why the Orioles are wearing grey and blue uniforms before dismissing it as some throwback Negro League thing he doesn't understand.

Third straight day game (but three hours earlier), I would guess that Mauer and Doumit flip-flop positions, but I would expect everyone else to stay where they are. I'm sure Gardy would like to see Parm and Hicks get off the schnide before they get a day off.

Carroll for Dozier. Otherwise status quo. Some might say this is the best lineup the Twins can put out there.

So after the blown save the tigers signed Valverde to a minor league contract.

I hate you but I can't imagine life without you!

Methinks it's time to maybe give Escobar a starting shot at SS. Why not? He certainly has more pop than Florimon, if anything.

Florimon can "pick it" but can he throw it....sounds like he hops everything to Morneau.

And he does it again.

Florimon and Morneau better get their defense sorted. Two unearned runs isn't helping matters one bit.

Florimon has to play D or he serves no purpose.

Given their respective ages, I'm fine with giving Florimon the first shot at the starting job, and I'd not be ready to pull the plug after three games. But to me Escobar is the one with greater promise in the long run, probably as a utility infielder but he could dial it up and win a starting job eventually.

I see Florimon as being out of baseball in a couple of years if he can't make the most of this opportunity right now.
