Chief_Roberts's Achievements

  1. Guys, don't worry Joe Mauer's move to first base will allow him to stay healthy and with him able to play every day his power numbers should improve.
  2. I don't understand how anyone can like anything about Dan Gladden. It's obvious he loves the sound of his own voice so much he has instructed Provus to stay off mic while he is on PBP. Provus barely says a word whenever Gladden takes over the play by play duties. Not to mention his numerous idiotic phrases he says game after game after game... "That's another run drooven in by Minnesota." "Let's take ten seconds for stations to identify themselfs." And of course any time any ball is hit in the air and it isn't directly headed for someone...without fail..."That's trouble" or "That ball's trouble." Dan Gladden is nails on a chalkboard, I was really jealous when Chicago stole away Coomer he would have been an immense improvement over Gladden.
  3. Had several Buck Sherwalter references this weekend and also a Rickey Nolesco.
  4. This is the year Pelfrey puts it all together. It usually takes two years to fully recover from Tommy John surgery.
  5. Some recent gems from Blert. R.J. Davis (Rajai Davis) Annabelle Sanchez (Anibal Sanchez) Kenley Jensen (Kenley Jansen)
  6. Nice article Nick, nailed it. I have no clue how the staff has come to any of it's conclusions with Deduno. Everything they have done with him this year seems counter intuitive.
  7. "This is the year Pelfrey finally gets back to form. It usually takes two full seasons to recover from Tommy John."
  8. Twins starters are dead ass last in MLB with a combined 6.32 ERA, the bullpen is third to last with a 6.66 ERA.
  9. Am I crazy or did Plouffe look impressive in his at bats yesterday?
  10. TFW Brian Dozier is one of the biggest bats in your line-up.
  11. Brian Dozier is probably my favorite Twin and I am also a big Duensing fan because he is a fellow University of Nebraska alumnus. Also have always liked Kurt Suzuki for some reason (fantasy baseball sentimentality I think) so I was really excited when the Twins acquired him this off season.
  12. Y'all ready to admit I was right yet?
  13. Has everyone been enjoying Bert sniffing into the microphone every 30 seconds or so these last few games in the cold weather? Not irritating at all.
  14. When Hicks gets two strikes he might as well head for the dugout because it's all over but the crying. The Twins cannot continue to have an automatic out batting leadoff, especially with the rest of the line-up struggling the way it is.
  15. Ahh thank you for this, I knew he had a gem WRT Zobrist but I couldn't remember how he said it.
