That was a little different IMO, because it wasn't like the Royals came out and scored 3 runs in the first and then the Twins only scored one run.

This is a very strange game. I can't honestly remember a time in the last couple of years where the starter went <4 innings but the Twins offense actually stayed in the game and didn't roll over. For some reason, they're playing with more "heart" this year, if there is such a thing. The pitching still sucks, though.

You have to give the Twins credit...this is the kind of game that they would lay down and lose last year. I legitimately think that this team could be almost 8 wins better than last year.

We better not lose this game because of the umpiring. 3-2 sounds like a good record to me.

What a horrible call, though. Disgustingly poor umpiring in this O's-Twins series.

So what happens if we win? We'd be 3-1, which is about 3 more wins than I'm sure anybody expected at this point. And what if we keep winning? What then? Do we still make all those moves at the deadline if we're above .500 at the break (somehow)?
