Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Predict the game and inning in which the Twins get a hit. Game 2, inning 2. 2014.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 A Tiger hitter swung at a pitch and did not make contact. Is that legal?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Is this really the best TD posters can do for an opening day game thread? Gonna be a long season.

snepp Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 There's the Florimon we're going to learn to love.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Drinking isn't allowed in the typical workplace.Forgive me, I'm from the Madmen generation. Drinking is mandatory in the workplace.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Bring back Castro, JFC. Either one would be ok with me. If I have a choice, I'd go with JFC. Errorless.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Forgive me, I'm from the Madmen generation. Drinking is mandatory in the workplace. Unfortunately it's also mandatory for watching these Twins.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Or, Mauer could have thrown it to 2nd base. Either way. That was my thought. All Blyleven could do is criticize Florimon, yet Mauer's throw was offline. If it's over the base he's out.

If it's over the base he's out. Like I said earlier, everybody seemed to be at fault in that play including the runner, who didn't appear to be trying very hard.

righty8383 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Morneau was playing defense there. He hit a really good pitch
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Vance almost got Morneau to tear a groin there. Pick it up buddy. Twins could have argued interference there. Can't remember who the runner was, but he was inside the line and Vance had to wait as he ran over the ball. I'd like to see it again, but if Worley had been there first and fielded it I believe you have offensive interference.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Oh my, a 1-2-3 inning. Maybe Worley just needed to get used to Target Field? Or just needed to get warmed up?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Oh my, a 1-2-3 inning. Woulda made for a good contest.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Woulda made for a good contest. I win?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I win? Sorry, you have to enter to win.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 "Nice piece of hitting right there." If nothing else, Dickbert's in midseason form.
