Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 How about not so good a pitch with two strikes there Vance
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 The Twins are trying really hard to keep my productivity up by convincing me to go do some work.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Maybe not the season, but this game probably is ova.
AlabamaTwinkie Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I haven't seen a pitcher look more like he is throwing BP then Worley does right now.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 Well, that was an ugly play by everyone involved, including the runner.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Swing and a miss! Thake that Chiefsie.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I haven't seen a pitcher look more like he is throwing BP then Worley does right now.See: Nick Blackburn
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I haven't seen a pitcher look more like he is throwing BP then Worley does right now. You've never seen Blackburn pitch?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Swing and a miss! Thake that Chiefsie. Comment not valid. Entry into contest not registered prior to deadline. Since I was the only contest entry, I win!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Florimon should have had that. Or, Mauer could have thrown it to 2nd base. Either way.
AlabamaTwinkie Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 See: Nick BlackburnYou've never seen Blackburn pitch?I try to keep him as far away from my memory as I can, but still he lingers.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Swinging at ball three, these Twins are a riot.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Wow Plouffe got screwed on those calls.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 so for free, I can "watch" the game on cbs on my phone, but can only get box scores and plays on mlb....what is mlb thinking?
Highabove Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 When does Gopher Football start???
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 so for free, I can "watch" the game on cbs on my phone, but can only get box scores and plays on mlb....what is mlb thinking? Welcome to the obtuse and vexing MLB blackout policy.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 No, it is about the fact that you have to pay to even see balls and strikes, as far as I can tell in my quick looksee on mlb.atbat, but on cbs I can see every pitch on the gamecast. Unless I am missing something, Brock. As for the blackout rules, they are insane. completely and utterly insane. Who cares if I see FSN on a tv or a phone or a computer? It's just so 1986.

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought CBS might be broadcasting the game nationally or something. I'm not a fan of MLB's new policy of charging for GameDay. Too many others offer the service for free. It's a mistake (though one that doesn't impact me personally, as I subscribe to MLB.tv). That's what you're talking about, right?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 Oh, COME ON. Could you guys go one inning without doing something clownish?
Whammy Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Geez, what the opposite of "doing the little things?"
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 New idea for contest: Name the game and inning Worley gets through a frame unscored upon. I'll repeat my earlier guess.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 WOW. Okay. Nice glovework, Florimon.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 Sigh. At least nobody scored that inning.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Vance almost got Morneau to tear a groin there. Pick it up buddy.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 could not disagree more, I want more interleague play. I wanted to see Bonds live, in person. Why not let people see the best players live? With the way FA is there's very little chance you won't be able to see your favorite player at some point. Otherwise Milwaukee is just a short drive away! I am a traditionalist, however, so I'd like to see no interleague play.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I win again! Predict the game and inning in which the Twins get a hit.
