Physics Guy Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Looks like Verlander would rather face the Hammer.
edavis0308 Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 All this talk of drinking is corrupting all the twelve year olds in this game thread.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Turns out it was just gas. Happens a lot to me these days.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Yep, go and use that wooden thing there Hammer.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Damn, I hope they cut him off at 100 pitches.
luke829 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Turns out it was just gas. Happens a lot to me these days. Well, the two of them do go hand in hand

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 You lose. Too true. And with it likely went the last meaningful AB of the season.
edavis0308 Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 12 ground ball outs? Good Lord.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 12 ground ball outs? Good Lord. Out of 15 or 16 chances. Not shabby!
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hm. After five innings, three hits. Mauer, Morneau and Florimon: One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other Ones...
snepp Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Wha?? Workplace rules waived? I can't keep up with you young whippersnappers. I live in my workspace, I can do whatever the hell I want.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hm. After five innings, three hits. Mauer, Morneau and Florimon: One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other Ones...Racist!
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hm. After five innings, three hits. Mauer, Morneau and Florimon: One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other Ones... I know I know. It's Florimon, right?
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 It seems encouraging that Worley has now put together 4 scoreless innings after a shaky beginning. Now the Twins need to get to Verlander.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hm. After five innings, three hits. Mauer, Morneau and Florimon: One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other Ones... Florimon just wanted to bring some diversity to the set.
edavis0308 Provisional Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I missed the first few innings at work, but looking at how things started, you have to like how Worley finished.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Racist! Never could stand those Canajuns.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Quality Start for Worley, but not for Verlander. Love that stat.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Never could stand those Canajuns. You spelled Canucklehead wrong.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Quality Start for Worley, but not for Verlander. Love that stat. I know, lousy Verlander only went 5 innings.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Yes, ER and inning wise, I'll take that from Vance all year. But that could easily have been 5 - 6 ER today. Also, Twins should have one run on the board. How you spoil a lead off double with Doumit at the plate on a 3-0 count and don't score the run is pathetic. At least we are still in the game.
