The Twins did this against New York four or five years ago , only in that one they had the lead and both side homered.

That was the game that finalized the end of Trevor May with Minn.

Funny thing is, the game threads seem to be better during down years. Everyone (OK, only most) has fun laughing at the Benny Hill hijinx of clear ineptitude.

When the team is winning 90-100 games, people live and breath with every out. That brings out WAY more frustration and anger.

Imagine what might have been if Rocco doesn't leave Happ in 40 pitches too long and then doesn't follow it up by bringing in two guys who have no reason for being in the big leagues.

This was a replay of the last Shoemaker start in KC but multiplied.

Makes sense, but it doesn't sound like I'm the only one not enjoying the game threads as much this year.  There's A LOT of frustration and anger this season.  Perhaps it's expectation related, I don't know.

It is a lost year. It is possible they wanted to see if the RP could work his way out of a jam or not. Also, small possibility they are thinking of dealing one of the remaining RPs, and he was told to sit them today ......

I am with you.  Winning or losing does not matter to mew at this point.  Development and seeing things that make me believe they can be better next year is what I watch for at this point.  Rooker continued to impress.  Plus one.  Jeffers was great offensively.  Plus two.  Sano gave us hope he can return to form.  Plus 3 and 4.  Hopefully Happ punched his ticket out of town. Plus again.

Happ did not lose this game , the seven runs given up after he left did, so why the whining about Happ?

Putting in a relief pitcher with an ERA of 10 after him, is what was moronic.

I apologize, I have been very infrequent to game threads this year and I know how disappointed everyone is when I fail to show up.
