Pitchers must be loving this plate ump. Calling pitches 4 to 6 inches off the plate strikes. Doesn't matter whether inside or outside or where.... just horrible calling.

Exactly.  He was still throwing well. Good velocity and break.  He's thrown over 100 pitches  in most of his starts.  Didn't up  the lead, albeit it is tied.

BS. Pitchers make plenty of mistake pitches. It isn't reduced to one just because that is the one someone clobbered. There are still plenty of mistake pitches that don't get hit out. I see Twins batters missing the mistakes all the time. To use that tired statement as an announcer or writer is cheap and just wrong.
