LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Good night; it’s late back East. Or, rather, Not Good Night. Maybe check back early tomorrow to make sure that everyone who stayed up late to wait for the Great Comeback Pumpkin made it to bed...
Sielk Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Really wish the Twins had added to their pen at the deadline. That's not the problem, just look at Alcala stranding these two runners with two strikeouts. The pen is fine. The problem is that Rogers, as much as we all loved him last year, is not good this season but is still constantly used in very close games. Sometimes it somehow worked out, but still. Admittedly, the offense did it's part today.

Who do you trust over the final 3 innings with a 1 run lead in the post season?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 And that stupid 0-2 pitch to Anderson comes back to haunt.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 And I thought I've seen everything...Nice Buxton!!
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Total BS call. No way that's a ground rule double.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Possibly the weakest attempt I've ever seen by a defender to plead for a ground rule double, and definitely the weakest overturn of a ruling on the field I've ever seen. On a related note, I miss Gardenhire losing his crap a half-dozen times a season.
jun Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Well if you trot Rogers out in the 9th, then the Sox likely walk him off...Rogers should not appear in any close game this season.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I hope Cave drills a liner at the left fielder and it bounces around in the corner.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 woof. tonight's chicken not so appetizing.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 15, 2020 Author Posted September 15, 2020 Mrs Chief and I visited this trendy new restaurant in Tucson over the weekend, called "Karma." Odd, there's no menu. You get what you deserve.I was expecting it to serve just desserts...
