It's a weird thing to even notice, but I think it looks better on TV without the foul ball netting.

 

Obviously is there for safety and we'll only get more of it each year but... I like that aspect of this.

I don't see their name on the team handout, but it should be a real umpire. They were bringing them in for this and got tested the other day.

I was watching some playoff replays this winter, and Maeda looked filthy. In one inning he struck out the side on pitches about eight inches outside. I’m really excited to have him on board.

Here's a few minutes of highlights from tonight's scrimmage:

Caught part of the last 2 innings but was distracted. Watched the first 4 on replay. Definitely fun!

 

Saw a tremendous play by Donaldson at 3B cutting in front of Polanco.

 

Saw a really nice play by Blankenhorn at 3B and a nice scoop by Kirilloff.

 

Polanco's double impressed me. Seemed to be almost on his fist and took it deep to the LF corner.

 

Maeda's breaking stuff and off speed stuff in general looked nasty at times.

 

Can't decide if I like or hate the TC bordered by the Minnesota state outline hats.
