Ex-Twins in 2020

With no Twins game today I was checking the box scores of other games. Detroit had a slugfest against someone and the first scoring was "Cron homered, Goodrum and Schoop scored". Three ex-Twins scoring on one swing of the bat.

james: I didn’t see Jaylin Davis of the Giants on your prospect write up. With the Giants seemingly committed to giving him at bats to start the season, do you think he will be able to translate his AAA success to the big leagues?

Keith Law: Not enough to make the top 20. Extra guy.

Fun with some of the faces from our 2018 squad:

Logan Forsythe signed a minor league deal with the Phillies in February. He's raking in spring training right now and is the surprise of Philly camp. The Sire of Clearwater, if you will.

After getting 4 hits last year with Detroit's major league team, Bobby Wilson is now the manager of the AA Rangers affiliate:

Keeping with that theme, Gregorio Petit is now the AA manager in the Houston Astros organization.

Taylor Motter signed over the winter with the KBO.

Zach Duke pitched to the tune of a 5.01 ERA last year with the Reds and remains a free agent. Can't imagine that 3-batter rule is going to help him find a job.

Alan Busentiz is entering his 3rd year in Japan. I think.

Making his first start of the spring this Sunday is Kohl Stewart, who's had a sore arm in Baltimore camp so far and hasn't been able to throw off the mound in a game yet. Despite that, he's still reportedly competing for a role in the starting rotation for the Orioles.

Aaron Slegers has pitched 4 innings for the Rays this spring as a non-roster invitee. His ERA sits above 8.00 so far in Spring Training.

According to CBS Sports fantasy, they project Danny Santana to score more fantasy points than Yuli Gurriel?? I think they projected him at something like 81 RBI, 81 runs scored, 29 bombs, and hitting like .280 or something like that.

Schoop and Cron both signed with the Tigers.

20+ home run hitters on the worst team in MLB.

It's going to be interesting to see how that pans out.

Will they be as good with Detroit as they were with us?

(BTW as I type this ads for the Cleveland Indians are coming up. Why???)

They now have the most home runs on the Tigers, obviously.

The Tigers home run leader had 15 home runs. What happened to them?

What happened?

DruBu is still hanging around on a minors deal in Colorado!

DruBu? First time I heard that one . I still like Son of Sal better, but DruBu will play. He has put together a pretty nice career for a guy who struggles to hit his weight.

If you find a way, let us know. We can turn the TD crew into a bunch of millionaires.
