Everything Puig does annoys me. From licking baseball bats to flicking his glove at a routine one-hopper hit to him in the outfield. I wonder if he were on my team would I actually enjoy watching him play?

Ugh, no. What could Wade have done differently, other than run faster?

if he doesnt dive, he picks the ball up on one ot two hops, and it's a double.

Wade cost the Twins that run. Romo did his job.

Reconstructing the inning, if Wade holds him to a double, the wild pitch sends him to third anyway, in time for the sac fly.

Yes this Carrasco story is great, but I want the Twins to ambush him and get some breathing room.

So much for that idea. Rats!

Why challenge if he's out? I don't care what inning it is? What if they want to challenge in the 9th? The logic escapes me.

They think in making the stretch, his foot came off the bag.

My son swears that I'm operating with outdated information, and that Puig was loved in Cincinnati and should be appreciated in Cleveland as well.

Oh, right, forgot about that.

After watching he and Machado in the Series last year, I wanted nothing to do with either of those players.

so, I'd have to say my answer is: No.

Yeah, that may be true, but, the Dodgers made no attempt to keep either Puig or Machado and look what they've done this year.

Watch the play. Wade does NOT move in to the ball. That means he is literally moving sideways at full speed and comes short of the ball by two feet.

There is nothing he can do that prevents that ball from getting by him, which means it's a triple.

And if you just look at the numbers both of them aren't THAT good.

if he's on his feet, he doesnt take the extra time getting up, and he can adjust and get to the ball quicker. It landed like a soft wedge, it didn't go very far.

Whatever.
