Pineda appears to currently have the edge for most desired FA Twins starter after this season.

I'd like to see Pineda come back over the other FA starters

I'm just getting caught up but apparently squirrel = runs

I'm applying for a research grant to fund some of my work to answer the correlation/causation questions arising from this phenomenon. Renting Target Field for some experiments might be a deal breaker; anybody know Veeck well enough to get me a discount at CHS?

As long as it is reasonable. One or two year deal. All I can think of is Phil Hughes. But I do like Pineda and hope for a much better time of it than Hughes had when he signed an extension.

I'd still prefer Odorizzi. Everyone seems to be so down on him and while I get his lack of endurance and the frustration that comes with it, the guy is still demonstrably the best starter not named Berrios.

Pineda is only 30 years old, I'd be fine with a 3/50 type deal

Hughes had 2 years left on his deal when he got his extension but I get the concern,

I’d love both.

Rocco cycling through his bullpen in needless fashion yet again.

I don't see what you mean... Romo just got 3 swings and misses from Anderson, who's been their best hitter tonight. Perhaps Duffey's history vs Anderson isn't good.

Three swinging strikes on three pitches at about the same speed, from Romo? Efficient. May not have to take a shower since he's barely broken a sweat

I hope this is the offseason when the Twins make a big splash in the FA market and go get the big time arm.  Looking at Cole.  One can dream.

He's already running laps in section 302 and later plans to build a home for the less fortunate.

Then he begins his usual nightly routine of high-fiving every person within a three mile radius before sitting down for a post-game dinner.

You just scooped RandBall's Stu on his upcoming investigative report. Stop it!

Hiya gang, just in time for the end of the game, dealing with life stuff.

2 VERY IMPORTANT POINTS:

1] I know the 26th man doesn't come in to play until next year, but somebody capture that squirrel and take care of him and outfit him with a little Twins Jersey #0 with the name ROCKY on it. Not only are squirrels one of my favorite animals, but this little guy is good luck!

2] I would be ecstatic to sign 1 of 3 in regard to Odorizzi, Pineda or Gibson. They all have great qualities. They are all worthwhile #3 type SP who pitch as well as a #2 at times. I want an offseason move for another guy to work with Berrios. But any 2 of these guys make me very happy coming back.

Play on!

Sano is taking Mauer's approach at the plate. Unfortunately when he's behind, he just can't seem to recover to catch up in order to avoid strikeouts.

See, this is where we need Bark's Lounge and his photoshooping skillz.

Someone put up the Barksignal!

It's simpler than that. He's just not good at making contact.

And that's okay, provided he's not terrible at making contact. As long as Sano maintains discipline and doesn't miss most of the pitches he swings at, he'll be okay because when he makes contact, baseballs go oblong.

There's something very comforting about watching the bottom line and seeing names like bichette, biggio, guerrero, plesac, and quantrill. I really wish kyle drabek would have made it.
