Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Well that was embarrassing. It's not going to get much easier than that to catch a ball, Polanco.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 that is NOT the defense we need to see
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Absolute nonsense AL pitchers are still required to hit during interleagueI think it was 25 years ago already when Bob Costas’ “Fair Ball” came out. One of the things he suggested was switching Houston to the AL and always having at least one interleague matchup. Which, of course has happened. The relevance to this post was that he made the somewhat out of LF proposal that they play by visitor rules for interleague. To give the hometown fans a chance to see the “other” league’s way of playing.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Polanco helping that w.h.i.p. stay above 2 , Cmon Jorge wtf was that throw there
TheRealCupOfJoe Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Polanco can look spectacular, and he can look terrible.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Perez couldn't even take care of the pitcher twice. He is certainly living on the edge.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Should Rocco have a pitcher up ??? i would
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Johnson helped with Martín's velocity, right? Does he know anything about helping with control?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Maybe they should hire Morneau to call pitches from the dugout
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 It’s too bad Perez just “hit”. I don’t think he gets out of the 4th.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Should Rocco have a pitcher up ??? i wouldI don't see why, he's at 50+ pitches and has only given up a single unearned run.

Can I have your corpse diamond when you die?https://www.cremationsolutions.com/cremation-jewelry-for-ashes/cremation-diamondsSorry. I already looked into this, and the best they can promise is cubic zirconia.

MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 How's Milwaukee's pen? Anderson can't make it into the 6th.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Better lucky than good. Baldelli better be ready with the hook next inning. Perez has gotten two swinging strikes. Both by Pina. He didn’t even get swings and misses from the opposing pitcher. F-ugly.

Unless a pitcher's got a lot else going for him, it's hard to forecast success with that to build on.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Cleveland within a run. Only the 7th

jz7233 Provisional Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 With the stuff Perez showed in this game, he would not even last an inning against powerful Yankees or Astros in a playoff game.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Cleveland within a run. Only the 7thSetting up Santana time again ??
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Gotta have at least 2 on - perez
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Perez 5 hits- 4 walks = Rocco we have seen all we need to, Walking the pitcher should be automatic D.Q.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Hope for a rally. If Perez’s spot comes up with runners on, he would likely get pinch hit for.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Can't get a double play unless you allow a runner to get on
