This team is toast

They sure look like it, but so did Cleveland back in May. Remember when the White Sox passed them in the division for a game or two? That seems like so long ago.

Cleveland is BY FAR the best team in the majors post all star break since 2016...they are not going to cool off.  Believe what u will, but this is the FIRST season under Francona where Tribe was above .500 after april... Twins have very little chance, and any rational person sees this

It almost seems to me Twins hitters are all trying to hit homers every at bat. If it's all about hitting homers, I think Twins won this game.

I really hope Smeltzer gets sent down instead of Dobnak. Dobnak pitched well enough to get Smeltzer's next start.

Dobnak didn't give up, 6 hits in 4 innings not impressive either, he at least gave no free pass.

Lots of baseball left, but it looks like the Twins are out of gas

The irony of the Twins being out of gas is the FACT that there has been no team in Major League baseball that has consistently given each of their players more rest than the Twins. That's a fact. Our starters only have to throw 80 to 85 pitches a start. Our minor league system is constantly re-supplying our bullpen because our relievers rarely have to pitch consecutive outings. And there really is no such thing as a reserve or a bench player on our team as each player gets shuffled in for one another. And yet our team is "out of gas"? Isn't that interesting?

If we're out of gas, how come pitchers like Clevinger and Bieber can throw 110 pitches consistently and not be burned out at the end of the season? A fair question.

Clevinger has been hurt most of this season, but you're right about Bieber. The Twins rotation is more "bad" than "worn out" IMO.

Just because of all the games left against Detroit, KC and Chicago I wouldn't count out the Central Division. Problem is once you make the postseason and play Houston and New York they don't stand a chance of winning a series.

conditioning, if you’re used th throwing 80-85 pitches consistently then you will definitely be out of gas before you reach 100

Glad I went to see a movie instead tonight.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood? That was my and Mrs Ash's choice.

Yes! Miss Vanimal and I enjoyed it!

Capsule review of any Tarantino movie: "I enjoyed it, until a certain point where I didn't enjoy it even a little, then I enjoyed it again. Go see it!"

Thanks for the review.

Does that include movies he wrote? Or just the ones he directed?
