Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Detroit says hello! Now Detroit... They might be the worst team in baseball.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 There is no way we can continue with perez as a starter can we?
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I mean, we do have a well-rested bullpen...
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I hate the net out there all the way to the fair pole. No more exciting catches leaning into the stands. That sucks. It is up to the fans to pay attention to the game. Moncada seems about as smart as Sano.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 There is no way we can continue with perez as a starter can we?well, we’re continuing with Gibson so...
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 In their current 32-12 run Cleveland is 19-2 against KC and Cleveland and 13-10 against everyone else. How many wins does Cleveland have against themselves?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Perez fooling no one. They are tagging him, even if it isn't fair. Lucky it isn't 5-1
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Perez needs to pitch in Boston or New York. He seems to treat every pitch as a media event.

Lawyers will extract money from teams that do not protect their fans from foul balls.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Looks like Buxton is playing deeper now. I like that. Save the crashes into the wall.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 How many wins does Cleveland have against themselves? pretty sure he was talking about Det so I let it go

Lawyers will extract money from teams that do not protect their fans from foul balls.I'm not saying you need netting all the way to the foul pole, but a child (0-whatever age you feel they can be responsible for being drilled) cannot be responsible for not getting hit by a ball screaming at them 80-115 mph.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Morneau is my pick for most knowledgeable and not boring partner for Bremer, Hawkins is the worst

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Does that hit by Marwin count as shift failed? In the standard defense, the first baseman would have been right where the ball went through.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 well that’s what parents are for , but what do I know My Mom was awesome at snagging 100 MPH liners with her bare hands.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Despite the Twins trailing, methinks this game will eventually come to this
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Actually it’s the exact opposite. Teams are not liable at all. But carry on. It says so... in small print on the back of the ticket.

Natural Selection? I always think it is such a waste to have a kid that really could care less about the baseball game taking up great seats. Spoiled rich kids. Just jealous, I guess.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 well that’s what parents are for , but what do I knowI anticipated this response. When I was about 10, we were lighting off fireworks in our back yard. One was almost a dud and lit some dry grass on fire. I immediately tried to run and get water. My mother grabbed both my shoulders and screamed, "OH MY GOD!" as I tried to tear away from her. She eventually ran over my 13 year old brother in the house who came out and stomped it out in flip-flops, then continued playing StarCraft. If my mother had taken me to a game when I was, say, 8 years old and a ball came screaming at my face, she would have been physically and mentally unequipped to do anything to stop it, and even if it was her /responsibility/, I would have still eaten one to the temple.
