Didn't G-sauce strike out 3 times yesterday? I'm not saying I doubt our highest OPS hitter, but I'd be happy with 2 hits and a double.

 

Thursday I believe... But... Damn the days go by so fast.

Is Cleveland that good or is their schedule just insanely easy. They are playing KC tonight for the 8th time this month, they lost one of those games.They have also swept Det in a 4 game series and Cincy in a 2 game series. The only series they lost in July was a series against the Twins. They play Houston next.

The only series they lost in July was a series against the Twins. They play Houston next.

 

Personally, I don't the schedule is that big of a factor. 

 

Cleveland is just playing well. They will cool off but we are going to have to win this thing on the field.

That is the kind of play we need Polanco to make. Looking at a DP and out of the inning if he does.

I disagree, 10 and 1 against two of the worst teams in the AL. That’s a winning July right there

But they won them! Twins..... since June 15 lost a series to the White Sox 1-2, went 0-2 against the Mets, and split with KC 2-2.... for 3-6. You have to win them regardless, and Cleveland did and our Twins didn't.

Ok, but you'll only get confused whenever the Orioles beat the Yankees.  :)

Both. I mean, good and even great teams lose to bad teams all the time throughout the season, and Cleveland just keeps sweeping. That's crazy!

In their current 32-12 run Cleveland is 19-2 against KC and Cleveland and 13-10 against everyone else.

That's on Schoop...he pointed home, just let an indecise defender make the play he planned on making

Though Sano's awful throw is not on Schoop, he missed Garver by a few feet.

 

I wonder how many of Sano's errors have lead to runs... 12 errors in 54 games in the field is pretty bad.

I didn't see that. Good catch. But Sano needs to be smarter on his own. I don't think he could have got a double play, though, and then the run would have scored anyway. As it turns out, no biggy.

Kansas City is 13-17 over the their last 30 games. 

 

During this stretch they are 2-9 against Cleveland. 

 

That makes 11-8 against everyone else. 

 

Is Kansas City the worst team in baseball right now?  :)
