h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Only one guy over there. Quite polite for Marwin to hit it right to him.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Didn't G-sauce strike out 3 times yesterday? I'm not saying I doubt our highest OPS hitter, but I'd be happy with 2 hits and a double. Thursday I believe... But... Damn the days go by so fast.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Is Cleveland that good or is their schedule just insanely easy. They are playing KC tonight for the 8th time this month, they lost one of those games. They have also swept Det in a 4 game series and Cincy in a 2 game series. The only series they lost in July was a series against the Twins. They play Houston next.

They will cool off but we are going to have to win this thing on the field.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Red Sox not having any trouble beating the Yankees. Pounding them for the third straight game.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That is the kind of play we need Polanco to make. Looking at a DP and out of the inning if he does.

HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That's just beyond brutal right there by Sano. My god
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Wouldn't be a Twins game without at least 1 error
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 I disagree, 10 and 1 against two of the worst teams in the AL. That’s a winning July right there But they won them! Twins..... since June 15 lost a series to the White Sox 1-2, went 0-2 against the Mets, and split with KC 2-2.... for 3-6. You have to win them regardless, and Cleveland did and our Twins didn't.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 I disagree, 10 and 1 against two of the worst teams in the AL. That’s a winning July right there Ok, but you'll only get confused whenever the Orioles beat the Yankees.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Ok, but you'll only get confused whenever the Orioles beat the Yankees. Im not confused
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Fantasy?Oh yeah... Remind me... What is the 8k post supposed to be about?
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That's on Schoop...he pointed home, just let an indecisive defender make the play he planned on making
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Come on, one more out and this /poorly/ played inning can come to an end with minimal damage
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Sano redeemed himself with a nice scoop

I mean, good and even great teams lose to bad teams all the time throughout the season, and Cleveland just keeps sweeping. That's crazy!

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 We got out of it with just one run, that’s not too bad
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That's on Schoop...he pointed home, just let an indecise defender make the play he planned on makingThough Sano's awful throw is not on Schoop, he missed Garver by a few feet. I wonder how many of Sano's errors have lead to runs... 12 errors in 54 games in the field is pretty bad.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That's on Schoop...he pointed home, just let an indecisive defender make the play he planned on making I didn't see that. Good catch. But Sano needs to be smarter on his own. I don't think he could have got a double play, though, and then the run would have scored anyway. As it turns out, no biggy.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Terrible play Great diving play.Right decision (They weren't getting a DP with Engel running and after a dive).Terrible throw.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 In their current 32-12 run Cleveland is 19-2 against KC and Cleveland and 13-10 against everyone else. Beating themselves again? Interesting schedule.

I mean, good and even great teams lose to bad teams all the time throughout the season, and Cleveland just keeps sweeping. That's crazy! Kansas City is 13-17 over the their last 30 games. During this stretch they are 2-9 against Cleveland. That makes 11-8 against everyone else. Is Kansas City the worst team in baseball right now?
