If we call Pineda ‘Big Mike’, can we call our Mike ‘Little Mike’?

It's possible our Mike could also be a Big Mike! How tall does a Mike need to be in order to earn the name Big Mike by the way?

That's probably closer to a real Manhattan compared to what I like. I use Angostura bitters, also a little grenadine with a maraschino cherry garnish. I admit to being a bit of a wimp that way but it makes for a smooth cocktail.

For all you lovers of a traditional Manhattan- beware!

Steve's have to be 6-4.

Close your eyes, imagine yourself standing in a Kindergarten class. You introduce yourself as Big Mike and nobody questions it.

Ah, I never shop there ... with Jewel-Osco, Trader Joe’s, Target, Mariano’s and my neighborhood farmer’s market all closer, never go there.

What did everyone have for dinner this evening?

Grilled some steaks, brussel sprouts, rice.

 

Very simple, as I cooked due to my wife being worn out from being out and about in 100 degree plus heat.

There's something I really miss: The Farmer's Market of the upper Midwest. Best way to get good tomatoes short of growing them yourself.

My imagination is so good that I can imagine a talking Gorilla calling me the Boogie Woogie King inside of an Applebees with a cat serving us food from the Olive Garden.

Not so well. I got distracted making the Manhattan, and the popcorn oil got too hot. Mostly I have half popped, burned, popcorn. I might have to eat an apple....

Just joining the game-thread in progress, and I'm REALLY struggling to reverse-engineer where this'un came from. Seems beyond just normal 5-2 lead hijinks. I will study this.
