Game Thread: Oakland A's @ Twins, 7:10 p.m.CDT

[Squirrel]

Just got home. Getting caught up. I was out ... yes, outside, in this heat ... playing tennis. I'm a little exhausted.

[Squirrel]

We had a 3rd option, sign you up for that then?

no ... I want the tacos.

[Riverbrian]

Warm humid air provides less resistance to objects moving through it compared to cool dry air.

There is no escape from the weather people.

[Blake]

Nice elbow Nelson.

Yes, but was it a Willi Plett type elbow or a Kareem Abdul Jabbar type elbow?

[tvagle]

Sorry to deviate...

I notice some long looks at "All hail the King Arrize" when he throws guys out on a grounder...wonder if his exuberance when taking a ball carries over to when he makes a fielding play...like maybe he says "Oh no You suck again"

Add to that a MarGonzo slow trot and you get plunked on the next pitch

I know how you feel.

If you wouldn't have played Tennis... you wouldn't be so exhausted.

Just sayin.

[twinsnorth49]

no ... I want the tacos.

Sheesh, tired and demanding....

[Blake]

no ... I want the tacos.

As you wish....

Note that I offered you what you asked for while everyone else offered you grief.

We’re in the lobby, but we can head over. Otherwise stop in the lobby and we can walk over together.

Okay

[Nine of twelve]

Well, maybe better for you to avoid option 3. It would make you exhaust even more.

[Riverbrian]

I know how you feel.

[twinsnorth49]

Gordie Howe.

[ashbury]

Why bend over if you don't have to.

That's what .... *mmmfff* *strangle*

[Blake]

Okay

You hang out with lobbyists?

What kind of baseball fan are you?

[twinsnorth49]

How am I supposed to put up with my children if I can't drink in the Family section?

Terrible marketing!

[Don Walcott]

If Buxton weren’t so incredible in center field, I’d probably be more appreciative of how good Kepler is in center.

[ashbury]

My epitaph

No, the plaque for the statue the city will build in your honor.

[twinsnorth49]

Sinking feeling Odo is gonna have a tough second half.

Yeah but......tacos.

Or

Tang.

[tvagle]

Kepler has the Cricket Yips...every under pressure throw from CF kills more worms

[Mill1634]

Gonna be interesting to see how the bullpen is pieced together in a close game with Rogers more than likely only able to throw one inning

[Squirrel]

There is no escape from the weather people.

You mean there is no escape from Midwesterners.

[ashbury]

Note that I offered you what you asked for while everyone else offered you grief.

[Squirrel]

I know how you feel.

What are you saying ... that the snow has finally melted where you are?

[tvagle]

Sinking feeling Odo is gonna have a tough second half.

When did that speed up the game rule go into place? There's two halves not 9 innings?

[Blake]

Yeah but......tacos.

Or

Tang.

Ish. Ick, even.

[Squirrel]

As you wish....

Noted and appreciated

[Riverbrian]

You mean there is no escape from Midwesterners.

No... I mean the "Weather People"

[twinsnorth49]

What are you saying ... that the snow has finally melted where you are?

Yesterday.....feels good.

[Blake]

Yeah but......tacos.

Or

Tang.

This is not an either or question.

In fact, it's not even a question asked in polite society.

Tacos and that's it.

That space drink stuff shouldn't even be in proximity to that perfect food known as "tacos."
