Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Sometimes lucky is a better outcome than good!I didn't think it was luck. I thought it was skilled bat handling dealing with the ball based on how it was pitched.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Beautiful piece of hitting by Buxton. That pitch was over the lefty hitter's box, over a foot outside. The man's got some loooong arms!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I think Kepler forgot he needed to swing
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Wow, missing the cutoff man really cost Texas.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 With the way Perez and Pineda are pitching, I'm starting to wonder if the Twins offer a contracts to them both and Odorizzi is the odd man out?Do we give Odorizzi a QO? What happens to Gibson? I'd rather have Odorizzi over Gibson!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 The Yankees have “all rise” for judge but we can have “all rise” for ArraezWe could have All Eyez on Arraez like 2 Pac's All Eyez on Me!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Today's plate umpire is really in sync with the electronic strike zone. I've seen about 5 pitches right around the knees on the (RH) outside corner, and he's gotten every one correct whether it's just on the plate or just off.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 My goodness, Gallo... I'm not sure if I've ever seen someone throw a ball that far from CF.Impressive! And it only cost the Rangers just the one run.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Maybe Laudner can give it a rest, talking about how Pineda throws strikes.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Maybe Laudner can give it a rest, talking about how Pineda throws strikes.I opted for the Rangers broadcast today. A couple innings of Laudner was enough for me.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Let us applaud Michael Pineda pitching out of a bases loaded jam. Bravo, Michael!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Big K! Wasn't there a "wrestler" by that name back in the Vern Gagne era?
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 “Might be going out on a limb, Dick.” Gotta be careful the way you pronounce that phrase.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 You could see the field shake during that triple.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 How many times has Joey Gallo played CF?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Thank you Joey Gallo, Wheels on Sano
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Sano wisely doesn't slide into third, thus avoiding a third earthquake in 3 days
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 So I stopped by my dentist's office yesterday afternoon, and inquired about the cost to remove a couple troublesome wisdom teeth. "It's $500 per tooth," said the receptionist. "Wow," I said. "TOOOOOO much." "Well," said the nice young lady behind the desk, "Let me get the doctor up here and see what we can do." My actual dentist, Doc Lee, was soon up at the desk. "Chief!" he said. (I'm one of his favorite patients, y'know. He LOVES my jokes.) "What can I do for you?" "Doc," I said, "What can we do about lowering the cost to get a couple wisdom teeth removed?" "Well," he said, "I guess we could cut out the pain reliever. Without novocaine, I could do it for $250 each." "Too much. What else?" "I guess I could let the intern do it. He's never removed teeth before, and I expect it'd be pretty painful. I would charge you $100 total." "OK, that sounds more like it," I said. "I'll bring Mrs Chief around Monday. I'm tired of hearing her complain about those two wisdom teeth."
