Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Yikes....you have to put that guy away.
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Pineda, the way he is getting hit this year more like Pinata
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 That was a bad home run to give up. This game will be official after the next half inning if the Twins don't tie the game and with rain on the way the Yankees may have put this game out of reach.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Good grief, I hope I'm as lucid as Kaat when I'm his age. Decided to look it up and Kaat turns 81 this year.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 The game they needed to win was Friday night and they fumbled all around the field. This was never going to be a win with Pineda going.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Yankees announcers praying for rain now that the game is official.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 It’s so the twins to have a guy named Tauchman land the big blow
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Would have been a GIDP but the shift exists
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Pineda has been laboring but he still had us in the game until that dinger last inning. I was just hoping he can just get through that last batter. And we got a gift.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 We need runs now. Doubt this game will go 9 unless the pitchers get real efficient.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Not a great start for Pineda, but not horrible. Needed to put Tauchman away. This game isn't over though (unless the weather ends it). Thankfully the bullpen is fairly well rested
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Wish this was rained out. Bad performance all around
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Mike Tauchman and his career .160 average proving to be the most difficult out in the order
bighat Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Another awful game, slow pace of play led by Twins pitchers. I'm telling you, Twins offense plays better behind Berrios, Perez, and Odorizzi because they are out there throwing pitches. Pineda and Gibby spend more time walking around the mound and kicking dirt. The Twins could somehow still win this game, no idea how they're only down 3 here.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Twins have the lineup to come back. Need some baserunners, get a couple back this inning.
bighat Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 When is Baldelli going to stop with this Adrianza-followed-by-Castro nonsense?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Don’t worry about that lead off runner, the black hole of Adrianza and Castro will snuff out any rally
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Here's what could happen here. The Twins could score 10 runs in this half inning, the game could be stopped and later called due to rain, the half inning wouldn't count, and the Yankees would win.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Swung at ball 4. Put the tarp on and call it a day
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Not necessary to remove caps for GBA like the PA announcer says. This is not the national anthem. It's just a song.

drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Kepler was late on a slider in the zone. Then swung at fastball in the dirt. Makes you wonder what his approach was there.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Haha I always enjoy seeing what bothers folksDoesn't bother me but I bet it would bother some people if hats were not removed.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Offense has been awful today. Terrible at bats all game
