I'm tempted to just quote Star Wars ad nauseum, but i moght not be online enough to fill a game thread with it.

 

But roads must roll and game threads must... thread the game? And so long as i am here, i'll play bobbin.

 

La tortuga is catching again. There is hope we can measure up, perchance even affect a play off picture, at least a little. I like the nickname, as on the small roads in central Mass, one often comes across hand painted turtle x-ing signs. There is even a turtle in El Mariachi, the movie what brought Robert Rodriguez into notice.

Anyway, i hope we play good. And well. Although i confess grammar is the least of my concerns with this club.

Heck, I might move Garver to 1B/DH/RF, to protect his head...you know, like another C they waited too long  to protect.....

I am Chief's age and have no illusions that I will live long enough to see a Minnesota Mens team win a championship, with only a slight chance the Gophers hockey team could.

Other than Astudillo, Mauer and Polanco are probably the hardest two to strikeout on the team.
