How is there only one error on the board?

Joe did not get an error but I’m sure it will make the blooper reels.

The current MLB batting average is .249. It hasn’t been below .250 since 1972, the season prior to the DH being implemented in the AL.

 

If errors were actually called as they were then, I bet it would be a couple points lower still.

I see it happening all around the league. They bring guys up and they do well. Young pitchers, batters, etc. We bring our guys up and the usually suck. Especially pitchers seem so unprepared. Whether it's in their head or they just can't get a grip, they just suck. Change the front office, and they still aren't ready. Change the coaches and managers in the minors....... and they still aren't prepared. Is it just me? Or is anyone else feeling it? We are left to make the standard sing song homer excuses for them.

That was my reaction too.

 

That was also my reaction when my DirecTV cut to Dirty Dancing instead of the game.

 

Too much craziness tonight and I haven't even been drinking!

It's something Dick mentioned ... Not official AFAIK

I mean, it makes sense in a way. But they can't be the only ones called up. I would also prefer they not be called up at all, but I think that's asking far too much.
