The last two plays have been difficult to follow on MLB Gameday... no idea what just happened.

Let's see...

leadoff single.

runner picked off first after he falls down like he got shot

Mauer runs runner 80 ft towards second base, never closes the gap by a foot despite the runner juking back towards first every 10 ft

Forsythe dives towards the mound

Polanco is taking a nap a SS

Mauer throws ball to nobody

Next hitter sac bunts back to the mound

May falls on his @$$

May throws ball to the first base coach from his @$$

Mauer somehow corrals bad throw

Chicago baserunners follow "run till they tag you out" T-ball baserunning strategy

Twins somehow make 5 or 6 infield throws without throwing ball away

both Chicago runners end up on third.

One is out.

May rescues the inning

I love this game! The only thing missing for me, and I’m waiting and hoping for this to happen, is for a base runner to just suddenly run out into the outfield for no reason whatsoever.

I’m pulling for a situation so weird that an outfielder tags a runner at home plate.

Thank you for that succinct recap.

I'd have been lost without it.

Cripe, this reliever's nearing 50 pitches.

It's time to do some serious damage here, then duck and cover for the THE.

Here's what I really liked about that play.

I like how Cave, after getting tagged way before scoring, reaches up and touches the catcher's glove, with the ball in it, also before he scores, just to be absolutely sure there can be no doubt in the umpire's mind about safe/out, and any replay challenge will provide indisputable proof of outcome.

You are on fire tonight.

It is almost impressive that more runs haven't scored with how bad of baseball is being played.

Bad pitching, coupled with bad defense does not outweigh poor hitting, coupled with bad baserunning.

It's science.
