USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Mauer has highest BA with RISP in AL. .426/.500/.611 w/RISPAnd 31 RBI. pfffffft.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2018 Author Posted July 31, 2018 I’m taking credit for that one.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Just not the year for ol’ dozeI think Escobar's going to finish with a better season than Dozier... didn't some folks here bet on that?
twins_89 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Dozier must really want to stay with the Twins, he's tanked his trade value with his truly awful play since the all-star break.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 And 31 RBI. pfffffft.Sorry I said something positive about Mauer. I know how much you despise that. For the rest of you, he has a whopping 66 PA w/RISP this year.

twins_89 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Cave needs to stop trying to make the hero play, he just doesn't have the speed. That's the third ball in the last few weeks he's tried to make a tough play and ended up gifting the other ream with runs.

With more experience he'll know when to go for it. Needs to gain situational awareness.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Nice to see Moya get some action. I think he has a future with this team as a Duke type of reliever. He has a sneaky delivery and good off-speed.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 As for me, when times get tough...I tuck my knees up into my chest and lean forward. That's just how I roll.I prefer the much simpler lie down on my side parallel to the slope and let gravity take over
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Erv looks shot. Velo down, and only 3 swinging strikes. Hard to imagine a contender taking a shot at him unless he ramps up the velo in the next 3 weeks

I don't see any way he's traded by tomorrow.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Andrew Miller will likely be back for the Indians in a couple weeks.
curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Exchange Morrison for Grossman (not position wise)- best offensive lineup, for now .......
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 He must be hungry like the wolfI believe you're confusing him with the guy we just got from the Yanks....His name is Rijo and he dances on the sand
twins_89 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 It's sad to say, but Santana is looking frighteningly similar to low-velocity Hughes. He's trying to be a junk baller and every mistake is getting pounded.
