Cave needs to stop trying to make the hero play, he just doesn't have the speed. That's the third ball in the last few weeks he's tried to make a tough play and ended up gifting the other ream with runs.

True, but he's also made some outstanding plays that saved us a bunch this year. With more experience he'll know when to go for it.  Needs to gain situational awareness.

Nice to see Moya get some action. I think he has a future with this team as a Duke type of reliever. He has a sneaky delivery and good off-speed.

As for me, when times get tough...I tuck my knees up into my chest and lean forward.

Yeah, Erv has a lot of rust to knock off and about 4 MPH needed on his fastball. I don't see any way he's traded by tomorrow.

It's sad to say, but Santana is looking frighteningly similar to low-velocity Hughes. He's trying to be a junk baller and every mistake is getting pounded.
