So, 9 man bullpen. Somehow the MOY calls on one of 4 guys that worked yesterday in a game the team was losing 5-0.

 

I’d like to hear a Molitor defender justify that move.

Yeah I know it "compromises the integrity of the sport" but now that there is zero chance at the playoffs I would absolutely not mind if the twins just kept sliding ala 2016 for Adley Rutchmann. We badly need a catcher and I find it hard to not buy into the fact that Rutchmann is going to be the best catcher in the big show for years to come. Cannon for an arm, good defense behind the plate, and one of the best college bats you'll ever see (from both sides of the plate).

He actually had a great excuse, he was ejected back in the 5th inning. I'm pretty sure it was Shelton's call to bring Pressly in. Then again, Dick did say that Shelton is the one who provides Molly with data on strategic moves like bullpen calls, so I think we can connect the dots here.
