Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Sorry I didn't answer, I was too busy watching another Twins batter hit another feeble pop upI have a morbid curiosity, so I went even further back and before May 10, the last time the twins hit a homer with more than 1 man on base was wayyyy back on April 20, the Rosario grand slam in Tampa. So in summary, the twins have hit TWO homers worth more than 2 runs in the past month. bighat and USAFChief 2
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I don't need to see Grossman anymore. There is no upside on offense, and we know about his defense. Move on. Mike Sixel 1
bighat Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Buxton gets in the hole 0-2 and strikes out. Seen this movie too many times.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Since it’s the Tigers… that means that ‘you know who’ is coming to town… the guy whose last name starts with a “G”. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he was one of us. He was a part of us for such a long time that his face is still probably burned into your memory. Indeed. Blake, USAFChief and Riverbrian 3

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 When Buxton breaks a bat it reassures me that the one he is using is actually made of wood, not a plastic whiffle bat. Of course, it rarely matters because he does not often make contact. USAFChief, Hosken Bombo Disco and DocBauer 3
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Nasty pitch? No, it was a non competitive pitch that Buxton decided to swing at before hand. USAFChief 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Man look at all those Detroit injuries. And we’re hung up on the absence of sano and Castro being our downfall lol

Seen this movie too many times.swing at low and away strike three, run to first if the ball goes in the dirt. Not a bad approach, unless the ball doesn't go in the dirt. bighat 1
launchingthrees Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) Time for Buxton to spend some time in AAA. I don't think I've ever seen a worse hitter than the 2018 version of Byron Buxton. The ABs aren't at a professional level. Edited May 22, 2018 by launchingthrees bighat 1
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 When will our FO give up Buxton? He is not a major league player.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Bull dozier now 1 for his last 23 with TEN k’s. That’s good for a .043 average

twinsbaby Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Our scout who draft Buxton need to be fired. This guy has zero potential right now.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 This Minnesota United FC manager, think he has any clue what’s going on with this game?

The ABs aren't at a professional level. I'm not convinced that would help. I'm sorry to say that I've given up on Buxton and Sano, and therefore on this generation of the Twins' offense.
