Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Is Sanchez a fantastic pitch framer or is this ump awful?ump went from very good to 100% Yankee lover
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 LoMo got on base via an error in Puerto Rico. Twins scorer making the call. Guess what, the Twins appealed. The league upheld the call, though. IMO the scorers are pretty consistent league-wide. I'd prefer more errors be called, but it's not how it goes. The definition of "ordinary effort" has clearly been updated to accommodate millenials.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 All this talk about the umpiring as if we haven’t been outscored 19-2 in 14 innings this series. Our ace couldn’t even get an out in the 5th, folksnothing about Berrios bothered me tonight
Blake Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Tonight, I really miss Gardy. He'd have been all over that home plate ump and ejected by now.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Bats really need to get going. Yes, our pitching has been pretty bad, but the hitting hasn't been great either. Especially with RISP

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Thanks for the fantasy help, Twins pitchers. Guess I don't need to be tuning into watch this *hitshow the next two nights. However, beating the Reds doesn't even seem like a sure thing at this pointWhich team is even the Reds and which team the Twins? Not even sure anymore
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 nothing about Berrios bothered me tonightWha? Dude was in trouble from 2nd inning on. 2 homers. 93 pitches in 4 innings. Yes the defense didn’t help but I hope to god you expect more than that out of the statf ace

We are going to need to score runs in order to have a chance

Two hard hit balls. All night.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Molitor needs to get ejected. Something to wake this team up.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Despite all this, I still feel like we're in this one. * I will show myself out
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 God dammit, Dick, not one single person other than Terry thought Hicks for Murphy was extremely lopsided in the Twins favor.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 God dammit, Dick, not one single person other than Terry thought Hicks for Murphy was extremely lopsided in the Twins favor.I dunno, last night someone said Hicks was expendable because of our abundance of OF talent. Ignore the platoon of lamarre and grossman
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Pressly = :shoot: The chances of Pressly maintaining his brilliance aren't that high, but perhaps we should give him the closer role if Rodney keeps struggling? Dave might have been right about this.

Darius Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Sano and Rosario really need to get going, here.

All night. He's got a little ways to go, but like you I'm not concerned by his outing tonight. He doesn't have the ego, mojo, whatever you want to call it to walk into Yankee Stadium and dominate. By the end of the season I'm willing to bet he'll have the swagger to do so.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Dozier might only have one more crack at it unless we get a big rally Lol
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 God dammit, Dick, not one single person other than Terry thought Hicks for Murphy was extremely lopsided in the Twins favor.I remember most people thinking the trade was fairly balanced at the time.

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 "Most people" = Terry, Rob, Dick and Bert! Someone that can stomach listening to these two should just compile a list of stupid **** they say.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 It’s hard for a big fat lump like CC to not break a sweat, even if April. But by golly he’s as dry as the desert tonight
