yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Got it back for you. How long will Lynn keep it this time? Not very. I’m not impressed with Lynn at all. WAY too many non-strikes. Way too many meatballs.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 (edited) Lynn is not the guy Erv will be replacing. You never know honestly. He’s not been impressive so far (yes SSS) Edit: 4 man rotation, forgot about that. Doh Edited April 21, 2018 by Aggies7
Danchat Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Lynn struggling with the bottom of the order. Only out was a bullet to sanoIt helps when their best batter is hitting 8th.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Author Posted April 21, 2018 I bet your post didn't even load before the lead was given back. Yeah... I was pretty pissed at you all when I got to the car, turned on the radio and heard it was tied. DocBauer 1
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Can we get a counter for the amount of times Bert calls Lance Lynn a "bulldog type of pitcher" I think that falls under the general "_____-type" comment that earns a "DRINK" in the usual "Bert says ______" game. USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Yeah... I was pretty pissed at you all when I got to the car, turned on the radio and heard it was tied. You jinx the game, and it's OUR fault??? Riverbrian, Squirrel and Danchat 3
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Doz went because he knew there was a 80% chance of Sano striking out
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 If Archer pitches all 9 innings of this game we will loseToo bad that's not going to happen

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Wouldn’t expect anything different. That home run he had the other day will buy him another week of escaping our undivided ire
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 In other news, the Burlington Bees beat the Quad City River Bandits 28-7 earlier today. Burlington scored 8 runs in the 1st, and 5 runs in three different innings. Burlington had two players who drove in 8 and 7 runs respectively, and Quad Cities had a pitcher who gave up 10 earned runs in 1.2 innings. https://www.milb.com/gameday/river-bandits-vs-bees/2018/04/20/541159#game_state=final,game_tab=,game=541159 USAFChief 1

BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Wouldn’t expect anything different.I brace for a strikeout every at-batIt's honestly depressing seeing him in the on-deck circle when a rally starts
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Is the cold weather still affecting Lynn's control? Can we still use that excuse? Aggies7, BoofBonser and Hosken Bombo Disco 3
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Escobar needs to hold his position for a count on that H&R.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Sweet, that missed called third strike by blue and a hit with the power of my grandmother gives the Rays a chance to extend the lead
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Not sure what the roster situation is. Archer has owned Sano his whole career and I'm not ready to declare Lo Mo out of his slump, yet there they are, batting 3rd & 5th BoofBonser 1
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Twins should just use a bullpen day when Lynn's turn comes around
twinssouth Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Just looked, Morrison has .087 BA, Grossman .080. Can't believe it, LM no longer worst hitter. Sheeze. Grossman needs to go, Granite is not this bad.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Rochester also scored 8 runs in the first inning this evening against Columbus. Brock Stassi hit a grand slam HR.

Archer has owned Sano his whole career and I'm not ready to declare Lo Mo out of his slump, yet there they are, batting 3rd & 5thThere aren't many better options. Those two need to hit. Sano's K rate is just out of control. Hopefully he gets that under control I'm actually not that worried about Morrison. I think he'll be about what we expected.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Is the cold weather still affecting Lynn's control? Can we still use that excuse? If anyone should be able to deal with the cold, it’s him. Maybe the room temperature at the trop is causing him heart palpitations Vanimal46 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Agree, and even if he is this bad, at least he could play CF. And to think, grossman is the one who tied the game in the 9th in opening day
