I really hope this is a minor league signing as Duke really isn't worth much. Sure, he should improve after recovering from his injuries, but he's 35 and had a 5.29 FIP last season. It's a fine minor league signing but they shouldn't lock him into a roster spot.

Dukeroo - I always wanted a Twins jersey with Duke on the back. Had a great-uncle Duke who was awesome, and have a cat named Duke. I like the name Duke.

When Duke made his season debut last July, he was only ~9 months removed from TJ surgery. And he only pitched 18 innings, not sure his FIP is all that meaningful -- looks inflated because he gave up 3 HR and only got 12 K's in those 18 IP. But his hit and walk rates were pretty low, so he wasn't getting knocked around, it seems.
