Good to see Aaron Hicks back in action today. First inning and already robbed a grand slam, drew a 7 pitch walk, and stole a base. Will be interesting to see him in the WC matchup if he plays.

He was playing almost every day when healthy. Girardi said they're prepping him to play from both sides in the playoffs. They have 4 quality outfielders so if they have to sit him I'm sure they look at platoon advantages but they didn't base his playing time around it.

Back when both played for the Beloit Snappers I made the bold argument that Eddie Rosario would be more valuable to the Twins than Miguel Sano.   For this season at least, it looks like I have a shot of that being right.

Hicks really fell off in the 2nd half, I wouldn't be too concerned. 

 

My bet would be Gardner, Ellsbury and Judge outfield. 

 

I don't know who would be the DH in the wild card game.
