70charger Verified Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Pretty high-leverage situation for Hildenberger. Far cry from his usage early in the year, eh?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Rodgers flashing back to Los Angeles....... Get him out of there!!!!
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Is there one pen guy anyone would have confidence in come october Hildenberger is the only one I feel like I can trust right now.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Pretty high-leverage situation for Hildenberger. Far cry from his usage early in the year, eh?Who else?
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Exactly. There was a dumbass who questioned whether or not he should bat 4th...Please don't insult a member who I consider a brother.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 The royals, who didn't score in 4 consecutive games, proving to be a tough out
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I had a bad feeling them not getting the bunt down was bad for us.I just can't understand why you'd forgo the chance of a hit in order to sacrifice the runs, unless you're a really good bunter who can get bunt singles. The Royals should be gunning for more than 2 runs, so we see yet another situation where failing to get the bunt down was the best case scenario.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 ALRIGHT!! Now let's get one more and get out of this with a lead.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Elizabethton wins the Appalachian league, in case you were wondering. That is good news!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 The royals, who didn't score in 4 consecutive games, proving to be a tough outI said at the time...bad juju for them to slump right before we played them last week.
jimmer Verified Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Hildenberger is the only one I feel like I can trust right now.I had a burger in Hilden once. It was gouda. No, but seriously, I did have a burger in Hilden about 11 years ago when World Cup was in Germany.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Heck of a job by hildenberger
70charger Verified Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 5 pitches, 2 batters ...3 outs.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Haven't closed the book on Rogers at all, or Duffey, or Pressly for that matter...but interesting how we all feel better with Hildenberger or Busentiz. Times are a changing?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I imagine putting Herrera out there after what happened last night is something even paul wouldn't do
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I imagine putting Herrera out there after what happened last night is something even paul wouldn't doA "get back on the horse" type situation, I guess.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Chief, did you a post an answer to your riddle about the old woman and the well?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Finally I agree with a bunt
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Chief, did you a post an answer to your riddle about the old woman and the well? She didn't see that well.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Let him swing 3-0 edit: I'd make a good manager.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 A "get back on the horse" type situation, I guess. But isn't he still nominally the closer? Not sure it makes sense to use your closer down a run in the 8th.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Who knew we missed Robbie so much? Dang
