Pretty high-leverage situation for Hildenberger. Far cry from his usage early in the year, eh?

[h2oface]

Rodgers flashing back to Los Angeles....... Get him out of there!!!!

Is there one pen guy anyone would have confidence in come october

Hildenberger is the only one I feel like I can trust right now.

Who else?

[glunn]

Exactly.  There was a dumbass who questioned whether or not he should bat 4th...

Please don't insult a member who I consider a brother.

[Aggies7]

The royals, who didn't score in 4 consecutive games, proving to be a tough out

[h2oface]

I hate Merrifield.

[Danchat]

I had a bad feeling them not getting the bunt down was bad for us.

I just can't understand why you'd forgo the chance of a hit in order to sacrifice the runs, unless you're a really good bunter who can get bunt singles. The Royals should be gunning for more than 2 runs, so we see yet another situation where failing to get the bunt down was the best case scenario.

[Aggies7]

Superb

[USAFChief]

ALRIGHT!!

Now let's get one more and get out of this with a lead.

[glunn]

Elizabethton wins the Appalachian league, in case you were wondering.

That is good news!

I said at the time...bad juju for them to slump right before we played them last week.

I had a burger in Hilden once.  It was gouda.

No, but seriously, I did have a burger in Hilden about 11 years ago when World Cup was in Germany.

Heck of a job by hildenberger

[yarnivek1972]

5 pitches

[h2oface]

NOW THAT'S RELIEF!

[70charger]

5 pitches, 2 batters ...3 outs.

[DocBauer]

Haven't closed the book on Rogers at all, or Duffey, or Pressly for that matter...but interesting how we all feel better with Hildenberger or Busentiz. Times are a changing?

[jimmer]

Man, Esco is fun to watch.

[Aggies7]

I imagine putting Herrera out there after what happened last night is something even paul wouldn't do

[yarnivek1972]

NOW is when you bunt.

[USAFChief]

A "get back on the horse" type situation, I guess.

[glunn]

Chief, did you a post an answer to your riddle about the old woman and the well?

[Aggies7]

Finally I agree with a bunt

[USAFChief]

Chief, did you a post an answer to your riddle about the old woman and the well?

She didn't see that well.

[USAFChief]

Let him swing 3-0

edit:  I'd make a good manager.

But isn't he still nominally the closer? Not sure it makes sense to use your closer down a run in the 8th.

[Aggies7]

Who knew we missed Robbie so much? Dang

[jimmer]

Nice!!!!  Way to go Grossman!

[Puckett34]

Grossman!!!
