yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Ervin owes Buxton a steak if the Twins hold on to this lead. Might see a lot of left, right, left right to get the final 9 outs.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Buxton missed that ball by a foot at the beginning of the season.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 two out RBI. how you win games.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Punctuate with a homer, Max.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 There you go smacking away my remaining cynicism, Mr. Buxton.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Walking Kepler to pitch to Escobar who has hit 3 HR in last 4 AB. Bold strategy, Cotton.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 S'more 2 out RBI(s) Esco, kthanks.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Nice line drive single by Buxton. (I'm just looking at the box score.)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 The following games are still in need of a game thread volunteer: 9/6 @TB9/8 @KC9/9 @KC9/10 @KC9/15 TOR9/16 TOR 9/22 @DET9/27 @CLE9/28 @CLE9/30 DET10/1 DET Some of you's have never done one. Just sayin'
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 orioles just tied the jays with a 9th inning homer. going to be a very tough race this final month
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Buxton missed that ball by a foot at the beginning of the season.True. He's not bailing out anymore. Rotating the rear hip forward, at least a little. I saw a really good sign yesterday on an outside pitch - after the pitch Buxton stepped across the plate, indicating that his weight was shifting in that direction. That didn't happen at the beginning of the season. Progress.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 Santana is bringing some heat!!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I admit, I wouldn't have let Santana pitch to Moss. He got him, but not sure that was a good call.

Pitch count.

jimmer Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Dick Bremer trying to argue Ervin Santana is a good as Kluber or Sale...those conversations were going here earlier this year when people were saying that Santana deserved to start the AS game :-)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 strike 3. he missed a called strike 3 on 2-2 to the last hitter, too.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 What constitutes a f'ing swing around here? That's **THREE** in this game.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Molitor tossed, even though he was right.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 Why did he appeal to first? Looked like he was in the middle of calling strike 3.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 And that call might cost the game.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Marty Foster...Mike Muchlinski....they can both go F themselves.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Crud, that was hard to watch.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I think the Twins are due for another 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th seeing how the box score is going.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Was anyone else fully expecting Buxton to catch that drive to center?
