I've been saying this all year!  To me, Donaldson hit a pitcher's pitch.  He's good enough to do that.  Other than that, Gee looked fairly in control.  Some balls found grass.  He was working a little harder because the Jays were striking out.  Now to burn through the pen and lose 3 games in 1 day.

Side note: I had surgery to repair a torn labrum back almost 20 years ago. Can't imagine having that surgery on my throwing arm.

 

The recovery & rehab sucked. Very, very painful.

This bullpen is so freakin bad.  No confidence in anyone at this point.

I know this bullpen is terrible....but what in Molitor's mind thought that bringing Curtiss back after last night would be a good idea?  If you want to keep a 1-run lead, you use Hildenberger.  Naturally, Curtiss starts with a leadoff walk on 4 pitches and those never end well.  If this team misses the WC, it's going to because they have had a bunch of garbage in the pen and a manager that hasn't been able to work it well enough.

Garver, Curtiss, and to some degree, Vargas..... all succumbing to pressure they can't handle. Too bad. There was some renewed promise there for a few minutes.
