(fond memories of summer camp trail lunch default desert. That or oranges. And hard to say which was stickier if you are bad at pealing oranges...)

If I had to guess, I'd also guess they don't think much of his catching...that would explain a lot. In any case, might want to pitch a gem tonight, Jay-Oh. I don't see the Twins scoring 10 tonight.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Miss Vanimal likes you for you. So should her parents. I met my in laws at a restaurant, was myself. 12 years later my wife swears they like me more than their own daughter
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 On the Dbacks pregame show, one of the broadcasters (Todd Walsh) named Target Field as "in his top five in all of the major leagues." Nice. Also--on a dare--he signed off from "St Paul, Minneapolis" rather than the other way around. I like it when visiting broadcasters have a sense of the place they're visiting.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Can somebody explain to me how the D-Backs are paying Goldschimdt just $8.75M this year and $11M next season? Who signed off on that deal?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 two pretty big ABs here. Rosario fails. c'monnnnnnnnn Esco!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 uffda. Gotta take advantage of opportunities like that.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Rosario's overaggressiveness really hurt the Twins that inning
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 What is our BA with the bases loaded? It has to be under .250

Darius Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Is there a worse team in the MLB with runners on 3rd and less than 2 out? The numbers have to be out there somewhere.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 My dog, Buxton can talk. No...really. My friend Ashbury was visiting recently, but didn’t believe that Buxton could talk. So Ash asked him, “What’s on top of a house?” “Roof,” said Buxton. Ash wasn’t convinced. So he asked Buxton how sandpaper feels. “Rough.” Ash had a bemused look on his face..."I think I see what you're trying to pull, here, Chief. But OK, I'll play along. He turned to Buxton and, with a wry smile, asked "O.K., who was the greatest baseball player of all time?” “Ruth.” With that, Ash gave us a little courtesy laugh, and walked away. Buxton looked up and me and said "He's one of them saber guys, isn't he. I should have said Bonds."
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Actually, Greinke looks really sharp right now. This could be hard.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Really, really have a bad feeling about that first inning.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Let's hope Berrios is ready for a pitcher's duel
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 When the Twins beat Grienke in the past, seems like it was free swingers like Rosario that got him. Rosie swings at pitches that make no sense, and sometimes hits the snot out of them.
Darius Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Chances that we get more than run baserunner in an inning against Greinke the rest of the night?
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I wonder if Berrios would toy with a really slow curve, like Grienke does. Free strikes on that first pitch.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Really, really have a bad feeling about that first inning.Like millions of baserunners crying out, and then suddenly silenced? That pitch is too far out of range... It would be well to let it go...
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Good thing that guy in the stands yelled, "swing!" All credit, dude.
