Sometimes, I squat down, put my arms around my legs, and lean forward as far as I can.

That's just how I roll.

I only seem to be able to wobble back and forth, returning to an upright position. Guess i lack the courage to commit or something.

Which means i can't roll. I only rock.

So now we get hits but we make the outs other ways.

Yep, these guys have somewhere they have to be and that rain delay didn't help things.

Late to the party. Rewinding a bit, why not Grossman leading off, Adrianza in the 2 spot with the suddenly hot Dozier 3rd, Escobar 4th, Giminez, Rosario, etc. Wouldn't that be a more balanced lineup that made more sense?

It's too bad for Buxton that stealing first base is not possible.

I think bunting for singles is the closest we can get. With his speed, it wouldn't be very hard if he was a good bunter.

So with his bunting, he needs to be faster?

Strangely enough, that would be something to see...

Wow, Boshers beat the jinx.

It was a team effort.

Gotta challenge them if you want improvement.

Discovered broadcast tv was lacking in Twins games, so i left the soccer game on. Minnesota isn't doing any better in that venue...

So, here's my question: Why did it take 4 months to notice and correct Pressly's delivery flaw?

I was on a tour of Target Field. They showed us the video room for the opponents and told us the Twins had a similar facility.

The last 13 batters (both sides) have failed to reach and we have a very quick game. Hamels is really good, so is Pressly when things are working for him.

Good question! What's most important is going forward. Guy really has an arm. Why I've been advocating him in the 9th when we need a closer again. Why Not? What is he now, 27? Not old for a RP to find himself, even as a closer or top SU man.

If there is no dinner, does the chicken then go free?

Nah, I saw a photo a couple of nights ago. It just collects frost in the chief's freezer.

And people paid good money to watch the lineup Molitor threw out there.

I didn't pay the money, only saw a few innings on TV, and still fell like I got ripped off. I guess that happened when your team has three #5 starters and six guys who should be hitting 9th in any lineup with a DH.

Just saw Chris Collabello hit a HR in the AAA game I am at right now. The previous pitch by the Bees pitcher hit 101 on the radar.

Gibson pitched great. Polanco could have fielded that hit in the first inning, and the home run pitch was actually quite a good pitch. Then he settled down nicely, putting up three zeros.

The lineup was the culprit. Putting that lineup...including Kepler and Rosario, against Hamels, was not great. Agree that Vargas and Mauer should have been in the lineup, and Buxton should have led off.

I beg to disagree. While he wasn't bad out there, he was missing the strike zone more than usual and had nearly reached 100 pitches by the time he was pulled (5.1 IP). That final "zero" was thanks to Boshers as Gibson left guys on 1st and 2nd with one out.

I don't know, that pitch to Mazara was a first-pitch strike, on the outer half of the plate with some movement. If he hits that ball five feet shorter, we are talking about how well Gibson pitched, only giving up a run on six hits.

The Gallo home run Friday night after getting ahead 0-2. One pitch each game basically cost the Twins two games.
