I haven't seen a Twins triple play in a long, long time. I think it was when Al Newman was playing 2nd. You almost have to have a third baseman with a rocket arm, like Sano's, or back then it was Gaetti. 

I believe the last time I saw the Twins turn a triple play was against Cleveland and Al Newman was playing.
